He Works All Things Together for Good

I'm so very grateful for the Word of God and how it blesses my life every day.  I'm grateful also for Stamp Simply Clear Stamps for carrying the most amazing stamps and dies that include many scripture stamps, uplifting scriptural sentiments, and so many other awesome products.  It's a company that I feel so blessed to a part of, and I love being on this Design Team.  You're always sure to find the perfect stamp(s) for every occasion.
This card uses basic black cardstock layered with a piece of Crate Paper patterned paper.  I did a bit of machine stitching on my card.  The background was created by painting using some Lemonade and Fossilized Amber Oxide Inks.  I stamped the pretty flower using the Thank You for Caring Coneflower Stamp Set and I cut it with the coordinating Coneflower Dies.
Underneath the pretty image, I laid a piece of White Lace.  There are so many beautiful Laces and trims at Stamp Simply in addition to all their wonderful stamps, dies, papers and more.  I also tied a long length of Green Baker's Twine around my card.  The sentiment I used can be found in The Good News Stamp Set.  I'd love to hear what your favorite stamp set is from Stamp Simply.  I know....it's almost impossible to pick just one favorite.
Thanks so much for visiting me here today.  I'm always super grateful for your visits and I appreciate your input.  Have a blessed week, everyone, and happy crafting.  Be sure to stop by the Stamp Simply Blog for lots of great inspiration.

I'm sharing my card in these fun challenges:

Really Reasonable Ribbon April Blog Hop

Hello, blog friends.  This is my blog post for the April Blog Hop with Really Reasonable Ribbon.  You should have arrived here today by way of Misty's Sweet Blog.  But if not, you can catch up very quickly as this is a rather short blog hop.  Just make sure to leave a comment here on my blog, on the blog of each DT Member, and finally on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog so that you'll be entered to WIN the two fabulous prizes.
My card uses a black cardstock base layered with a Crate Paper patterned paper from my stash.  I added a sentiment from Bonnie Garby Designs.  It can be found in the Father's Day Digital Stamp Bundle.  I rubbed the sentiment with mint green and orange inks.  The stamped tool image is from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.  The only trim(s) I used on this card is Burlap String including Natural Burlap String, Red Burlap String and Olive Green Burlap String.
I used some White 3-D Foam Tabs to raise the sentiment spot and the tools.  Everything else was secured in place using Scor-Tape.  I also added a cute little red plaid Cabachon from the Embellishments section.  There are so many great products at Really Reasonable Ribbon including ribbons and trims, of course; but also SO much more.
Your final stop on this Blog Hop is at the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog where you will answer the final question.  Be sure to visit the RRR Blog often for lots of great inspiration.  Thanks again for joining us today, and happy crafting.
Here's the Blog Hop line-up in case you get lost or didn't arrive here in the correct order.  Every Design Team Member on this (very brief) Blog Hop deserves your love and comments.  It's greatly appreciated, and it's the only way to honestly win the PRIZES being offered.  You could WIN a $10 Really Reasonable Ribbon credit AND any one Digital Stamp Bundle from Bonnie Garby Designs.

Blessings,
Karen

P.S.  I'm sharing this fun Father's Day card in the following:

TIME OUT Challenges: Challenge #261 - "I'm a romantic.  I live for long dreamy walks down the craft aisle.." - This statement resonates with me completely.  I enjoy a long afternoon walking down the aisles at Hobby Lobby and other scrapbook/craft stores.  On the other hand, my hubby loves strolling down the aisles at Lowe's and Home Depot, etc.  He usually drops me off at the craft store and heads out to his favorite store.  We each get our fill and then go home.  LOL

Word Power Challenge - Challenge #4 - Anything Goes w/Sentiment as focal point - The sentiment I used is from Bonnie Garby Designs.

All Things Grow With Love at The Card Concept

Are you ready for another FUN and inspiring challenge?  Well, if so, then I sure hope you'll head on over to The Card Concept to share your cards with us this month.  There's a beautiful inspiration photo that you can use as a focal starting point.  You can use the colors, the textures, the images, or anything that causes you to feel creative.  Just make something and share it with us at The Card Concept #206.
My card uses black cardstock, white cardstock, Echo Park plaid patterned paper, Crate Paper patterned paper, Ivory Burlap String, die cuts, ribbons, a Paper Sweeties sentiment on a hand-cut strip. some die-cut branches and berries with glitter, some stick pins, and baker's twine.  Lots of goodies tucked in there for sure.  You can understand and define your "Card Style" by visiting this link.  I'm calling my card (and matching treat bag) Shabby Vintage by definition.
I found the Mason Jar baggies on EBay and I filled this one with some Tutti Frutti Jelly Bellies (yum).  The Mason Jar in the inspiration photo inspired this.  I added a sweet tag to the candies, and then created a second one for the matching card.  The Pink Chevron Ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon and comes in a variety of beautiful colors.
Please stop by The Card Concept to share your wonderful cards with us this month.  If you share the inspiration photo in your blog post, you will also be eligible to WIN the Top 3 and other recognitions.  We're always thrilled to have you share your art with us.  Get creative and come play along with us at The Card Concept.  Here's the inspiration photo.  What about it calls to your creativity?
How pretty!!!  Right?  I just love the light blue, the pinks, white/cream, flowers, and touches of greenery.  What things are you thinking about creating?

Get Well Soon

Like many of you, I've been blessed to serve as a Design Team Member at some really amazing stores over the years.  While it's always sad to see some of these stores being forced to close their doors, it's still FUN to use their products.  And.....I have A LOT of product that I don't use much anymore.  One of those companies is Paper Sweeties.  I really enjoyed being on that DT, and I'm always excited when I have a reason to pull out and use some of their stamps and dies.
I used the Feel Better Soon Stamp Set when creating this card.  I stamped the bandaid onto an actual bandaid.  I also used Sophie and the Stitched Tags #1 Dies on this card.  I cut the tags from gingham patterned papers and added baker's twine to each one.
Paper Sweeties is still open.  You can still purchase all their darling stamps, dies and goodies.  I believe the store itself is still up for sale if anyone is interested in taking on this endeavor.  I'll be sharing this card in some fun challenges.  I hope you're staying creative, and I'll see you out there in blog land, everyone.  Thanks so much for stopping by today.

A Barrel of Monkeys Challenge Blog - Challenge #14 - The Game Operation - I always loved that game as a kid, and now I want to buy it for my oldest grandchild (5).  I was inspired by DeAnne's card using a nurse.  We all know that nurses are awesome, and the "operation" couldn't be done without their assistance.

Blessings,
Karen

Encourage Others w/Stamp Simply

I'm so glad to see you here today and I thank you for your visit.  It's always a special day when you stop by to take a quick little peek at what I've been making.  Sometimes I get into a creative slump, and I won't craft for several days, possibly weeks.  I have to really be in the right mood, or else everything is thrown out of whack so to speak.  When I do get ready to create a card, I can always count on Stamp Simply to have the perfect stamps, dies and products I need to make the perfect card every time.  This is the perfect kind of card (basic in nature) to send any time - just to encourage others and let them know you're thinking about them.
This card uses a deep teal green cardstock layered with a pretty floral patterned paper from the Craft Consortium's Bright Blooms 6x6 Paper Pad.  I also used the patterned papers to cut the borders with the Tim Holtz Crochet Border Die.  There are so many lovely paper pads at Stamp Simply to compliment your cards and help you create lovely backgrounds.  Your cards don't have to be super fancy in order to let someone know you're thinking about them.
The gorgeous sentiment was stamped with a stamp found in the Worship & Praise Stamp Set.  Any card like this with a generic/basic sentiment or encouraging scripture is a great one to send for any occasion.  Just let others know you're thinking about them by sending a beautiful and encouraging card using Stamp Simply Stamps & Dies.Be sure to stop by the Stamp Simply Blog for lots of great inspiration and for information about special sales and promotions taking place at Stamp Simply.  Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Your visits are always appreciated.
I'm playing along in the following challenge that I love:

My Grace Is Sufficient w/Really Reasonable Ribbon

Welcome by again today, sweet blog friends.  I'm glad you're here because today I'm sharing a pretty card that I created for Really Reasonable Ribbon showcasing just a few of their (many) fabulous trims.  When we think about Really Reasonable Ribbon, of course ribbons and trims come to mind first.  That makes sense because RRR carries every ribbon, trim, twine, lace, etc. you can imagine.  Plus, they carry things like Adhesives, Mulberry Flowers, Hair Accessories, Embellishments and SO much more.
My card uses black and dusty rose cardstocks for the base and then a layer of patterned paper from My Mind's Eye.  I used a stencil on the background, stamped the scripture using a Verve stamp, and then pressure embossed that white piece of cardstock with the Organic Linen Embossing Folder from Altenew.  Everything was attached with Scor-Tape, 3-D Foam Tabs or the hot glue gun.
I attached the sentiment piece using White 3-D Foam Tabs.  Next, I ran a length of Bay Leaf Seam Binding up the left-hand side card of my card next to a length of Dusty Rose Wrinkle Ribbon and some bundled Metallic Gold String. Isn't that Metallic Gold String gorgeous?  I topped that with a beautiful Light Pink Tea Rose and two Moss Green Open Roses.  I also tucked in a pretty Green  Mulberry Leaf.
Be sure to stop by the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog for lots of great inspiration and up-to-date information about special sales and promotions.  You'll always find something wonderful when you shop at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Thanks again for visiting today.

I'm sharing my card in the following:

As You Like It Challenge Blog - Favourite: Flowers or Cute - I chose Flowers because they're so beautiful and I enjoy adding Mulberry Flowers to my ribbon treatments.  So pretty!
